Incorporate: to incorporate a company is to set up and register a limited liability company at Companies House.

Incorporation Date: the incorporation date is the date the company was registered at Companies House.

Information Centres: Companies House has Information Centres in Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Belfast that are open to the public to search and file company information.

Issued Capital: the Issued capital is the value of the shares issued to the Shareholders. This is the nominal value of the shares rather than their actual worth.

iXBRL (inline XBRL): iXBRL is the computer-readable data standard for financial reporting which HMRC and Companies House have adopted for electronic filing of accounts. iXBRL is a later and more flexible version of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language). iXBRL is considered to be readable by both computers and humans, whereas XBRL is considered to be readable only by computers.
